Film Review Roundup: No Country, Enchanted, Fred Claus, Dan In Real Life
I’m in recovery from my deviated septum surgery, so I thought I’d catch up on the latest movies that I’ve seen in recent weeks. There are still many films that I haven’t seen yet that I’d like to get out and see before they leave theaters; that list includes Gone Baby Gone, Hitman, The Mist, Across the Universe, and possibly Bee Movie. I also really want to see freakin’ Southland Tales but there’s no way it’s going to expand to Tulsa, so that one will have to remain a dream (I’ll see it on stupid DVD, I guess).

Dispatch: Changes Around The Corner And Other Stuff
Hey. This one is kind of bloggy and I’m only writing it because I need the outlet. If you don’t care about my personal life, then stop now. If you stop now, though, I’ll be personally offended. Film Review Roundup: Darjeeling, Gangster, Assassination, Kingdom, King of Kong, Clayton, Promises
I’ve been negligent as of late, and have put off many reviews of films that I’ve seen over the last month or so. Part of this is a result of laziness, I suppose, but really, I found that I kept putting off writing the reviews because I just didn’t have that much to say about the movies in question. So, I wrote nothing and silently felt bad about it. Then, eureka, I realized that I didn’t have to write full reviews if I didn’t want to; I run this damn site after all and I can do whatever I want. If I feel like writing mini-reviews, then that’s my prerogative, as some song from the 80s talks about. So, here are some mini-reviews for seven films that have been released over the last couple of months…
